58 metres above the ground - but not lifted off

Brasserie Madame, which can be found on the second floor of the tower and is run by chef Thierry Marx, offers gourmets the chance to enjoy award-winning cuisine focused on sustainability and local provenance in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a casual counterpart to the restaurant "Le Jules Verne" on the floor above, where Frédéric Anton presents his Michelin-starred haute cuisine.

Modern impulses in a historical setting

Upscale gastronomy poses special challenges for the ambience. It should be inviting and stylish without distracting too much from the essentials, i.e. the culinary impressions. At the same time, practical criteria such as easy cleaning and a certain robustness must be met. In the special case of the Eiffel Tower, seamless integration into a demanding spatial situation and optimal use of the space are crucial.

Design in harmony with the kitchen philosophy

The award-winning designers and architects of the new brasserie in the Eiffel Tower chose, among others, Oak Milano from Pfleiderer. This classic, timeless decor is used in the form of Duropal HPL surfaces and DecoBoard for wall cladding and furniture. It lends the design a restrained and at the same time natural look that optimally compliments the extravagant design language. The aim of the deliberately sober design with sustainable materials was to pick up on the material dimension of the tower itself and to marry the metallic tones derived from it with natural and earthy colors, as the origin of the ingredients and core element of Thierry Marx's kitchen philosophy.
