The Pfleiderer Group has achieved another major success with its strategic focus on sustainable entrepreneurship. In the annual EcoVadis rating, the engineered wood manufacturer not only defended its gold medal, but also increased its overall score by 5 points to 76 out of 100.

PCF GmbH (Pfleiderer) has once again been recognized for its ESG achievements. ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) stands for Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance. Just like last year, the independent rating agency Morningstar / Sustainalytics has confirmed through their ESG risk assessment the excellent position and exemplary development of Pfleiderer in the field of sustainable corporate governance.
STEEL MATT FROM PFLEIDERER HONOURED WITH RED DOT AWARD
Steel Matt was honoured in the Product Design - Materials and Surfaces category. "Steel Matt lends an elegant appearance to a variety of coloured panels, allowing great scope for room planning. The finish is of a very high quality and the matt sheen is appealing," said the jury in its statement, which also emphasised that Steel Matt is visually and haptically comparable to a stainless steel alloy, but does not have the processing-related disadvantages.

Sustainalytics' ESG risk ratings cover more than 15,000 companies in 42 industries. Based on a best-in-class methodology, the top-rated companies worldwide with the best ESG performance were identified from all analysed participants, as well as the best-performing ESG companies per industry and region. In the construction products sector, Pfleiderer is thus one of seven European companies to receive an excellent rating.
