Timber buildings are popular! Hardly surprising, as contemporary wood-based materials meet the house builders' desire for sustainability, promote a healthy living environment and are also easy to work with and flexible. Pfleiderer's wood-based materials make an important contribution to these aspects in contemporary timber-framed buildings, and are used by the various trades to construct the following elements, for example:
- Exterior walls
- Interior walls
- Floors and ceilings
- Flat roofs
- Pitched roofs
Whether supporting, bend resistant or particularly sustainable: Pfleiderer's LivingBoard can be used for almost anything. The chipboard is highly isotropic and formaldehyde-free, and bonded with moisture resistant PU. It is suitable for the construction of reinforced panelling in timber frames and frame construction. Thanks to low resin timbers, the VC emissions are also extremely low – and on request, PEFC or FSC® certified versions are also available.
PremiumBoard MFP P5 – a panel material that can be used in all directions and is also available with a symmetrical tongue and groove profile – is a suitable alternative where load-bearing capacities are needed.
With StyleBoard MDF.RWH, Pfleiderer offers a fibreboard for roof soffits or a second roof decking layer as well as exterior vapour permeable wall cladding that is also optionally available tongued and grooved.
