Dr. Hicham Abel
CEO
Dr. Hicham Abel has over 25 years of management experience in leading strategic planning and operational execution. He has supervised and managed several acquisitions, business exits, and divestments. He has many years of experience working with private equity firms such as Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) and Lone Star Funds. He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering and two doctorates: one in power generation from Ecole de Mine de Nantes and another in international relations & diplomacy.
Dr. Abel began his career in the UK with National Power before joining Air Liquide, where he spent over 11 years in senior management positions in France, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. He then joined the Exova Group as Group Managing Director, where he was responsible for the Middle East and Asia Pacific, managing operations from Dubai.
In 2016, he became CEO of Forsroc, world leader in building materials, and then joined BASF as Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific. Most recently, he served as President for Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific at Master Builders Solutions, a global leader in construction chemicals.

Jonas Reed
COO
Mr. Jonas Reed is a Norwegian national and holds a BSc., MSc. in Management with Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Mr. Reed brings 20+ years of experience across private equity, operations, strategy, and value creation gained from senior positions at leading management consulting firms and a series of senior executive roles for industrial companies.
He began his career in management consulting before joining Marakon, a global corporate strategy advisory firm, as a member of its EMEA Leadership Team. He subsequently took on the role as Group Head of Business Strategy at Severn Trent, a FTSE 100 utility, and then as Director and member of the Executive Team at Water Plus, the United Kingdom's largest water retailer. In 2019 Mr. Reed joined Bain & Company where he worked with investors and executive teams to deliver accelerated transformation programmes and hands-on operational turnarounds primarily for private equity portfolio companies.
He joined the management team of Pfleiderer Group in 2023, taking on expanding responsibilities that today span SCM, Production, Engineering, Maintenance, HSEQ, Customer Service, Digital & IT, Transformation and Regulatory Affairs. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for the Group's operations and around 1,500 employees.
Jonas Reed is the COO of Pfleiderer Group B.V. & Co. KG since 2025.
Stefan Zinn
CCO
Mr. Stefan Zinn graduated business administration at the Bavarian Julius-Maximilian University of Würzburg, Germany.
Since 2013 Mr. Stefan Zinn has been working for Pfleiderer Group in sales managerial positions. From 2017 Mr. Zinn was responsible for export sales in Core West of Pfleiderer Group and from 2018 for overall sales in Core West. Since January 2019 Mr. Zinn has been holding the position of Chief Commercial Officer responsible in particular for sales in Core West, export sales and marketing.
In a period 1994-2012 Mr. Stefan Zinn was working on various managerial positions (among others as Director of Sales, Marketing and Strategy and Chief Financial Officer) in Neschen AG, Bückeburg leading producer of digital print media and self-adhesive products. In a period 1991-1994 Mr. Stefan Zinn was working in family-owned consulting firm Rolf Zinn & Partner Unternehmensberatung GmbH.
Since 1 May 2019, Stefan Zinn has been CCO of Pfleiderer Group B.V. & Co. KG.
