The universal Rochester structure can be easily used on all hardwoods. It looks very authentic and natural. Plain decors are made to appear like freshly lacquered wood. The streaky grain is accentuated by the clustering of elongated, sharp-edged pores. These are offset at different levels and have different matt variances, creating an exciting interplay of graded mattness - right down to deep black, dull matt pores. An overarching, extremely fine line chisels the more open surfaces.
