In the annual EcoVadis rating, the engineered wood manufacturer not only defended its gold medal, but also increased its overall score by 5 points to 76 out of 100.

Max Padberg becomes CFO of Pfleiderer
Neumarkt, July 31, 2023 – Today, the Pfleiderer Group, one of Europe’s leading Engineered Wood Products producers, announced the appointment of Dr. Max Padberg as new Chief Financial Officer as of Sept. 1st, 2023. Dr. Padberg succeeds Dr. Mani Herold who has left the company in March this year. He will report to Pfleiderer’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Frank Herrmann and complete the management board.

Neumarkt, February 2023 – In March 2022, Pfleiderer was rated very highly by Sustainalytics as one of the champions in the European building materials industry when it comes to sustainability. To be specific, the positive verdict was "low risk" and was the result of an industry risk rated as "medium" and its management rated as "strong". The annual list of top-rated ESG companies based on this industry-leading ESG risk rating now lists Pfleiderer as one of the top-rated industrial companies.
