HINTS OF TOMORROW - INSPIRATION DAYS 2022

The furniture making and interior design industry are continuously reinventing itself – inspired by global trends, and the changed requirements of our customers. We view it as part of our job to recognise these in good time, to include them in our own creative work, and to inspire customers. For the benefit of our partners in the market, our decor professionals are always working on identifying the current megatrends, and interpreting them in order to reflect them in our portfolio in the form of inspiring decors.

The presentation centres on our latest campaign under the motto of "MAKE YOUR VISIONS WORK"; however, unlike at other times, our partners actually get to meet our trends at the Lenkwerk: the three-dimensionally designed images from the current print and online campaign have been realised here in the form of presentation furniture from real materials, in real dimensions, in realistic room settings.

A visit to the Inspiration Days 2022 therefore provides a unique opportunity to experience the new trend decors live in combination with our new products, such as the extraordinary FunXTional range, with all senses. Alongside the presentation furniture, the advantages and features are illustrated with the aid of large samples and multimedia presentation units. A real highlight is the individual explanation of all trends, ideas and features in a personal presentation – in a specifically designed room whose interior design also demonstrates the collection's full potential. The way we live in 2022 was governed by "social cocooning" – retreating into your own four walls. Reinforced by the pandemic and the blurring of the boundaries between home and workplace, their surroundings have clearly become more important in people's lives. This promotes their willingness to invest not only in spa bathrooms or kitchens, but also in ergonomics and interior design, which is a challenging, but certainly also very promising development for our industry!

Individuality used to be the main aim; now, a new feeling of togetherness is emerging. More community and solidarity are heralding a post-individualization era. At the same time, we are slowing down – almost inevitably – and are learning to appreciate the value of permanence more than ever before. Aspects such as the longing for security, health, and equal opportunities are being given similar consideration, and have equally gained in importance, At the same time, much of what we took for granted is being questioned: mobility, urbanity, globalization – with the current restrictions in mind, we are interpreting all of these differently: we are becoming more digital, more local, have become closer to nature, and more organized.
