Formwork construction

Formwork materials have to meet a wide range of requirements in terms of strength, moisture resistance and surface quality. Pfleiderer wood-based panels for concrete formwork are designed to meet these requirements and, depending on the product variant, support the required finish of concrete components. High-quality, stable and robust wood-based panels are essential for achieving the required shape, surface quality and evenness.

Pfleiderer formwork panels make an important contribution: they can be processed precisely and flexibly and offer technical properties tailored to the respective formwork application.
They are:

• available as raw panels or with a melamine facing
• designed for optimised cutting yield thanks to direction-independent processing

With its melamine facing on both sides and moisture-resistant amino resin bonding, Pfleiderer FormBoard is designed for concrete formwork applications. 
Thanks to its isotropic strength properties, the panel can be processed irrespective of direction, helping to optimise cutting yield. Its homogeneous surface also makes it suitable for fair-faced concrete applications. The special impregnation is designed to minimise any influence on the setting behaviour of the concrete. FormBoard is available in P3, P5 and P7 grades. This provides suitable product grades for different structural requirements, including applications where repeated use of the concrete formwork is intended.

With its unfaced surface and formaldehyde-free PU binder, Pfleiderer LivingBoard is suitable for formwork applications and for stiffening formwork structures in humid conditions. 
The raw panel features isotropic strength properties and is available as P5 for structural purposes and as P7 for applications requiring higher load-bearing capacity.

• Fresh wood from sawmill by-products such as slabs, wood chips and chippings, as well as thinning wood
• Formaldehyde-free PU binder

LivingBoard is also available as LivingBoard face contiprotect. In this product variant, the panel has an unsanded surface and features the heat-treated contiprotect surface. LivingBoard face contiprotect is available in P5 and P7 grades.
The panels are used as absorbent formwork panels, with the surface designed to delay moisture absorption.

PremiumBoard MFP Living P5 is a versatile, unfaced raw panel with a coarse surface layer.
It is suitable for formwork applications and for stiffening formwork structures. The panel features isotropic strength properties and is designed for applications in humid conditions. It enables reliable fastening with nails, screws and staples, including in edge areas.
