The EcoVadis sustainability rating, one of the world’s largest providers for evaluating ESG activities (ESG: Environmental, Social, and Governance), assesses criteria across the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, awarding medals annually. With a score of 87 out of a possible 100 points, Pfleiderer ranks again in the top 1 percent of the approximately 150,000 companies assessed. Key factors contributing to this success include advancements in environmental protection, the introduction of additional metrics in ESG reporting, and top scores in labor/human rights and procurement.
“Maintaining a Platinum rating in the EcoVadis assessment is not a given – the standards rise every year, and the bar of evidence is higher than ever,” said Dr. Hicham Abel, CEO of the Pfleiderer Group. “Achieving this again confirms that sustainability at Pfleiderer is not a slogan, but the result of consistent execution across the business. Being ranked among the top one percent worldwide demonstrates that our ESG strategy delivers measurable results, even in a challenging economic environment.”
