This cradle-to-gate principle* provides a reliable benchmark for comparing the ecological footprints of different products and solutions. The entire value chain is important for this assessment. The PCFs of our products are tested by an independent institute, and the results are publicly available.
*The Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) describes the total greenhouse gas emissions of a product across the life cycle stages of raw material extraction, transport and product manufacturing (cradle to gate), expressed in CO₂ equivalents.
