Decor Trends 2025
The design themes of the past few months have hardly changed.
In times of perceived uncertainty, with stress, worries and dissatisfaction, one's own home is more important than ever. Withdrawing into the familiar surroundings of one's own four walls provides strength and security. The way people furnish their homes is very individual, in terms of the demands they place on functions and space, but also on ambience and atmosphere. Every personality needs a different environment to which they can escape and in which they can relax; this becomes particularly clear in the following living styles.
The styles are represented and developed to different degrees in the application areas of kitchen, living room, bathroom, office and, for example, caravan or health & care. In the following inspirations, this is summarised in the form of collages.
The trends for 2025 are largely characterised by classic, calm materials in all styles. Rustic woods have given way to striped, simple light natural and warm brown tones. Stones are equally simple and timeless – sandstone, slate and travertine are proven materials. Metals are warm and discreet, although aluminium is already making itself felt as a cool accent. In the field of plain colours, warm white and grey tones with shades of orange and red are on the advance in the neutral range, contrasting with warm anthracite and black. Dark taupe tones in blue and green are a good alternative to anthracite, as are mud and earth tones. Combinations with powder and muted yellow and orange tones, such as mustard, clay, leather or terracotta, create a cosy atmosphere.
