Corporate Governance

The German Government adopted the German Corporate Governance Code in early 2002. The aim of the Code is to make the rules governing corporate governance and supervision in Germany more transparent, thus strengthening confidence in the management of German companies.

The Supervisory Board and Executive Board of Pfleiderer AG issued their first Declaration of Conformity in accordance with section 161 of the Aktiengesetz (AktG – German Stock Corporation Act) in December 2002. In addition, the Supervisory Board and Executive Board of Pfleiderer AG established their own corporate governance principles, which supplement the general framework of the German Corporate Governance Code with national and international rules of conduct and market customs.
